Wiring and Testing the Shoulder Servo

Overview

In this section, you will be wiring the shoulder servo to the ESP32 and testing to make sure your assembly has gone smoothly so far.




Parts and Hardware

  • Turret Assembly
  • ESP32 + Breakout Board



Wiring and Testing the Shoulder Servo

Follow the steps below to wire and test your shoulder servo:

  1. Route the servo wires through the dogbone on PN3 if you have not already.
  2. Plug wires into D26 on the breakout board making sure that the wires are perpendicular to the board and that the brown wire is closest to your ESP32.
  3. Plug in the power supply and observe motion.
  4. Unplug the power supply.
