In this lesson, you will learn about the Internet of Things (IoT) and how these devices are changing how homeowners interact with some of the electronic devices within their homes. This lesson will focus on the Smart Home Thermostat and introduce students to some of the devices they will encounter in the kit and some of the devices they may encounter in a home heating/cooling situation. In the lesson activity, you’ll use the Betabox Electrician Foundations and Futures Hands-On Project Box to create a small smart home cooling system!
