Lesson Activity - Using Best Practices to Wire a ‘House’

In this activity, you will NOT get an instructional video OR a circuit diagram to follow. Instead, you will think back to the lessons learned in the course. 

A homeowner has hired your company to install a light in a hallway with a switch at each end of the hallway. The homeowner would also like you to install a light and an outlet in a bedroom with a switch that controls the light. 

Your goals:

• Create a circuit diagram of the proposed circuits
• Using your Betabox Electrician Foundations and Futures Hands-On Project box and following best practices you learned in this course, create the circuits needed to meet the terms of the contract made with the homeowner
• Test your circuit to ensure:
• Proper voltage and continuity where appropriate
• Proper switch function for both circuits
