Overview

In this section, you will be attaching Lower Arm Subassembly A to the turret. This subassembly works to stabilize the lower arm as it moves.

Parts and Hardware

  • Lower Arm Subassembly A (PN12 + PN13)
  • Turret Assembly
  • One M3x10 screw
  • One nyloc nut

Attaching Lower Arm Subassembly A to The Turret

Follow these steps to attach the subassembly to the turret:

  1. Line up the Lower Arm Subassembly with the turret at joint H28 on PN13 and joint M28 on PN6 of your turret.
  2. Make sure the text on both parts is facing the same direction. The lower arm is on the left side of the strut and the head of the screw goes on the side labeled H28. Make sure that the notch on the arm is facing down.
  3. Using the revolving joint method, tighten the screw and nyloc until the plate is secure but still moves smoothly when turning with two fingers.
