🌈 Building a Zoetrope

You will find a 3D printed zoetrope in your hands-on kit! What’s a zoetrope? It’s a tool that allows you to see an animation using static (non-moving) frames, just like how it works in designing cartoons, using the science of persistence of vision to create an illusion of movement.

The 3D printed zoetrope was designed by Nextin3D and uploaded to Thingiverse, a website for sharing 3D print files.
