Place Career Power-ups face down on the table. Starting with the youngest player going left, each user selects one Power-up and places it face up next to them. Any remaining careers are set aside for the rest of the game.
Arrange components on the table (motherboard) like in this picture:
Shuffle the Task Cards and deal five (5) to each user. Don’t show your hand to the others! Place the rest of the Task Cards in the draw pile face down on the Hard Disk Drive placemat. The youngest player can go first with play continuing clockwise. You must play a Task Card on your turn; if you are unable to, perform a system reset by exchanging your current Task Cards with five (5) new ones. Your turn is now over and play continues to your left. You can play as many Task Cards as you want from your hand until you end your turn by drawing a new Task Card and logging off.
Your turn begins with however many cards you currently have in your hand. If another player has stolen a card from you on their turn, you may not draw from the Task Card pile until you decide to end your turn. Example: Player 1 steals from Player 2 on Player 1’s turn, leaving Player 2 with four cards. Player 2 begins their turn with four cards, plays one Task Card, then draws two Task Cards to replenish their hand to five (5) thus ending the turn.
If a user draws a card that says PLAY IMMEDIATELY, they must activate that card at the beginning of their turn. At the end of that card’s task or challenge, the user continues until their turn is over.
A user may hold an unlimited number of Hexadecimal Code Cards and strings of three (3) Hex Codes can be exchanged for one (1) crypto token. Hex Code Cards have their own discard pile (one of the two Recycling Bin placemats). If there are no more Hex or Task Cards in the draw pile, shuffle their respective discard piles and stack a new deck.
The winner is the first user to earn five (5) tokens or the user with the most tokens at the end of 30 minutes. Customize your game experience by changing the amount of tokens needed to win and/or the length of time.
